Learn All About Will Shakespeare In Two Minutes Or Less

The world-famous and legendary William Shakespeare was a poet, a playwright, and of course- an actor. No one knows for sure when he was really born, but scientists and historians assume he was born on 26th April 1564 and died on 23rd April 1616.
He wrote about 38 plays in total, and invented more than 1700  words! Words such as: "Dauntless", "Hint", "Accuse", "Addiction", "Dawn", "Blanket", "Birthplace", "Excitement", and even "Green-eyed".
He was married to Anne Hathaway (no, definitely not the modern popular celebrity) and had three children: Susanna, Judith, and Hamnet.
Does the name Hamnet ring a bell? Of course it does. Even though Hamnet died at an early age, his name lives on... in one of the most famous Shakespearian plays of all time- Hamlet! Know where the classic quote "To be or not to be;that is the question" comes from? Yep, you guessed it. Hamlet!
Did you know that Will's plays were never printed out until after his death? Two of the actors that worked for him had this brilliant idea to collect all of his works and print them out in one big book- The First Folio. Now, where's the Second Folio? The Second Folio is basically just a translation of the First Folio. Duh.
The most popular Shakespearian plays are: Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet (sappy and romantic), Macbeth (creepy), King Lear (most famous tragedy ever), Othello, Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing, The Taming of the Shrew (not the animal), and Twelfth Night (does Shakespeare keep track of the number of nights?).
So there you have it. Learn all about Will Shakespeare... In two minutes!
