Shakespeare's Portraits

Here's an interesting fact about our homie Will-
There are only two-that's right, only two- real and official portraits of Will Shakespeare! Outrageous, ain't it? He was such a rich guy, but never bothered to hire a painter and paint a portrait of him. Will must really hate cameras if he lived in our era. Sadly, he doesn't.
The more-famous one of the two was by Martin Droeshout, first printed in 1623, on the First Folio, a collection of Will's plays. The portrait is still widely used in books, pieces of writing, and inscriptions as pictures. It was drawn and sketched by charcoal/pencil.
The second protrait is not a drawing nor a painting. It is a sculpture! A great big structure of the genius playwright standing proudly in Stratford's Holy Trinity Church in... duh-Stratford.
